While the subtle art of double dipping has attracted its fair share of negative press in the last decade (no thanks to Seinfeld), there’s nothing scandalous about this upcoming double-dipped-headline tour. Arguably two of Sydney’s finest, Dappled Cities (Fly?) and Red Riders , are set to embark on the rather hazardous sounding ‘Break Your Neck’ national tour, with the headliner being decided by a coin toss.

Now I’m not a gambling man, but I’m definitely going to be putting money on who will win the toss each night. Hell, I’ll be the bookie. In fact from now on, consider 12MC your musical equivalent of the TAB. We’ll be taking bets now, in the comments section.

June 9 – Pauhaus Festival, Brisbane.
June 15 – The Metro, Sydney.
June 23 – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne.
June 24 – The Governor Hindmarsh, Adelaide.

Looks great except for TRR part. Caught The Red Riders at the Film Ink movie awards on Weds. Ugh.

I’d like to see them again though as they get the benefit of the doubt for playing to a surly crowd, at a really bad awards ceremony. Music was still a bit samey though.

Will the Red Riders be dressed care of Ben Sherman?

Syms, trust me, even on a good night the Red Riders are such massive tools that it doesn’t matter who they are playing to. I fucking hate that fashion accessorised scenester crap.
